After a 27-year career at Collier Shannon Rill & Scott (now the DC office of New York’s Kelley Drye & Warren), where he practiced primarily international trade and customs law (as well as food and drug, intellectual property and consumer protection law), Mike now devotes himself to the practice of immigration law. He focuses on representing asylum seekers before the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Immigration Courts, and the Board of Immigration Appeals. He also handles applications for adjustment and naturalization and immigrant visa applications.
Mike received his B.A., magna cum laude, in Philosophy and Religion from Colgate University in 1977 and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1980. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
